Something’s wrong in the neon-lit streets of Chinatown: the cats have turned to stone. Play as kung fu fighter Rinrin and her jiangshi companion Kyonkyon in a side-scrolling action adventure to bring them back.

Rinrin

A kung fu girl with a big appetite

Chain palm strikes and kicks into combos, sweep enemies off their feet, launch flying kicks and charge up a qi blast. Even an empty stomach won’t slow her down.

Kyonkyon

A jiangshi with a soft spot for cats

The other half of the duo fights with a sword and blue flames. Press SELECT to switch between Kyonkyon and Rinrin at any time.

    Neon Night Market

    Lanterns, steaming baskets and neon signs fill the bustling night market. Leap across moving stall awnings and springboards to make your way through.

  2. Rooftops glowing in the evening sun

    Slums in the Sky

    Cross the rooftops at sunset, past clotheslines, water tanks and cranes. Dodge the indestructible iron lions as they rise and fall.

  3. Kyonkyon wielding a sword in the subway

    Subway Works

    Head deep into the subway and factory. Pipes, steam jets, electric fences and freight lifts await. Time your moves and dash through.

    A tower looms against the stormy night. Climb tiled rooftops and platforms that glow blue and violet.

    Violet stone, black roof tiles and flickering ghostly flames. Watch your step on trick floors and crumbling platforms.

Story

A cat turned to stone

“Wait…
the cat’s turned
to stone?!”

The town is as lively as ever beneath the starry sky. But something strange has happened: its cats have been turned to stone.

One gentle pat from Rinrin turns a cat back to normal. It promptly grabs a pork bun and scampers off. The others are still out there, somewhere in the city.

A kung fu girl who’s always hungry. A jiangshi who can’t resist a cat. Their night is just getting started.

Which systems can I play it on?

We’re developing the game for ModRetro Chromatic and GBC-compatible systems. It has been tested on Chromatic hardware, and development and fine-tuning are underway ahead of release.

When will it be released?

The digital edition is planned for November 2026, followed by the physical edition in December 2026.
